About this session

This session will begin by exploring the science behind effective study and debunking some ‘traditional’ approaches to study as well as what we mean by revision. It will also look at why students don’t revise or revise ineffectively and how traditional approaches to revision tend to widen the gap. It will then offer a plethora of strategies to both create a culture where all students revise effectively and engage all stakeholders (students, staff and parents) in creating this culture with a shared understanding of what constitutes long-term learning.

This session is suitable for Teachers, SLT, Heads of Department. Based on a secondary model but applicable to primary too!
