Filtering and Monitoring - Safeguarding Masterclass

Schools and organisations must provide a safe environment for pupils and students to learn, and it’s vital that this safe environment extends to the time they spend working online. Filtering and monitoring are important aspects of safeguarding both pupils and staff from harmful and inappropriate material online. The updated DfE Meeting Digital and Technology Standards set out the most recent roles and responsibilities within schools and colleges to ensure this can take place. Ensuring the right people are working together to make informed decisions is key in having an effective strategy in place.
