About this module

From the wealth of research into reading comprehension, we are able to glean effective teaching approaches for developing pupils’ comprehension strategies. In this session, we will consider this body of research to gain an understanding of the most impactful teaching and learning approaches for developing independent reading comprehension strategies.

This module is suitable for English subject leaders, class teachers and teaching assistants who support pupils’ reading.
