This session examines the key strategies and techniques which enable teachers to communicate effectively with their learners. It explores the way in which tone, pace, volume and pitch combine to support understanding, identifying the impact that this has on learner behaviours more generally. The session also explores non-verbal techniques for teachers to adopt, in order to support behaviour for learning while minimising the potential for challenge and conflict from learners.
